Trip to Maui

I made a trip to Maui in December for my Vegetarian Society of Hawaii lecture “Plant Strong: How to Avoid Infections on a Plant-based Diet”.

We visited a newly vegan restaurant that is also gluten free (Harvest Cafe). We loved it! Here are some pictures:

I had a Makawela wrap, which was delicious!
My husband loved the vegan mac and cheese…
I had a date energy ball, so wholesome and delicious 🙂
My husband a cookies and cream dessert…
They have some indoor and outdoor seating.
They have drinks and take-away desserts in the fridge.

Harvest Cafe is located at 1367 South Kihei Road in Maui. Check it out! It is a dream for those of us who are vegan and gluten-free. The food is fresh and delicious!

We also visited the Leilani Farm Sanctuary which was an idyllic place for all these rescued farm animals…We love Lauralee and her passion for animals!
